Inter University Academic Support Staff Association - Segment I (IUASSA - Segment I) is established in 26th Day of July 2010 and the Registration Number is 8094. It is one of the strongest trade unions among the Sri Lankan Government University System, composing with more than twelve different job categories in it.
Majority of our members are industry Professionals with postgraduate qualifications and the Association gets the strength from their wider scope and abilities.
Currently it is functioning to acquire the ignored rights to the Academic Support Staff category and there are many success stories written in gold in past few years.
